Spreader bar and DIY sadist table

I know we are all different, feel different, experience different etc but I have a couple of questions anyway.

1. Experiences with spreader bars, I am thinking about making my own because everything now costs an arm and a leg, plus the most popular of my other tools, toys and accessories are made by my previous subs or myself, with a few exception such as Lush/Ferri long range blue tooth stimulation toys and everyone's favorite Doxy power wand.
If you have made a spreader bar any advice would be appreciated and if you have played with one what are the pros/cons, best positions etc?

2.Sadists table, I recently played on kitchen table which worked surprisingly well but is not practical and then I saw a portable massage table which looked incredible in every way, mobile, easy clean, wires and attachment possibilities everywhere under the table.
Has anyone experiences with this? I am thinking if they are strong enough to play on even for heavy impact play and other stronger activities?
